The scientific and research work of the Department’s members relates to the areas of analytical chemistry and environmental protection, ranging from the application of modern analytical techniques, assessment of pollution in all spheres of the environment, development of new procedures for environmental protection and purification, to analytical quality control of results and application of chemical metrology. The staff of the Department has participated in a number of national and international scientific and professional projects. The following projects are of particular importance: IPA, TEMPUS and IAEA.<\/p>\n

Also, the members of the Department are very proud of the large number of scientific papers published in prestigious international journals, which confirm the dedication and commitment of the teaching staff to follow world trends in scientific and research achievements.<\/p>\n
